Learning to crochet with hairpin lace loom

My very first attempt at crocheting hairpin lace
on one of the looms I got last week.

I bought 3 hairpin lace looms last week. They, at least, look different to me. I also got some hairpin lace loom instruction books and patterns. I didn't have a lot of time to play around with them much. So far, they seem to have a lot of potentials and not too hard to do so far. Will try to post more on this subject.

I also got a 2 CDs set of Vintage Patterns from OldTimeQuilts on etsy. The CDs compilation is well done. I'm very happy with the purchase. They're so extensive that I don't think I'll be able to look through all of them. I've clicked through some titles that look interesting to me and they're great. More inspiration!

Pink Lining Fiber Necklace, Scarflette, Scarf

This is my latest design I'm getting ready to list on my etsy store. It's made of light weight 100% cotton . It's a very light and airy. In this picture, I wrapped the scarf around the neck a few time and loosely tied the end to show off the bubble fringes. I'm working on more photos of the scarf to show details. I've made this design in silver gray first and really loved it. I'm planning to add more colors for this design. Ivory cream is the next one I'm working on.

This treasury was curated by poshpretties and uploaded to flickr etsy frontpager treasury screenshots (pool) group by theeye formerly LN♥ THANKS, poshpretties and theeye formerly LN♥! It was a very nice surprise. Poshpretties put together a great combination that really works. Ok, so I'm bit partial. But, seriously this really is a good looking treasury.
