Another first for me!

I did it! I did it!

I just created a treasury on etsy. I've been waiting for available spot and was watching it very, very closely since I noticed last night that I might be able to grab one. And, I DID!

Check out some of the most amazingly beautiful jewelry on etsy in my treasury. If only I have unlimited budget for jewelry!!! This treasury will expire on Monday December 1, 2008 at 9:00am.

The Spider Web Choker featured in...

I'm trying to be better about posting... anything. That might not be the best way to go but I have to start somewhere :-)

Studio/Craft Room

I've been slowly working on my studio/craft room. So far I've painted the walls pure white and replaced all the light bulbs with day light bulb. It's amazing what little things like that can help with designing the colors of your projects and the photos of the projects. It's much easier to get the colors of the photo to actually match the actual colors of the project.

I've been seriously considering adding one of the Ott-Lite to the room. The cost is the biggest problem I have right now. But, I might just have to bite the bullet and get one.

I've also half organized my yarn stash. I did really good when I first started out. So, I now have half (or more) or my stash in bags all over the room (and my bedroom) and the other half neatly organized in the closet. I'm waiting for the yarn fairies to finished yarn organization and that has not happened yet. I might actually have to do it myself.

Old friends found online

I stumbled upon my old letterhead on the Letterhead + Logo Design 5" By Rockport Editors, Rockport Publishing, 2002.




And from there I found another piece in The Best of the Best of Business Card Design By Tabula Rasa, Rockport Publishers , 2003.

This is my friend Steve Mims' letterhead for this Austin Film Work business.

It was pretty cool surprise. I have not thought of them in a long time.

I'm back!

Hopefully this time I'll be better about posting. I'll try anyway.

I've been busy crocheting new things and learning new stitches all the time. I've listed many new items on my etsy shop. I need to start writing down the patterns so that I'll be able to make them again in the future or at least have the record of how I made them. That's just not the fun part.

Welcome to my Crazy About Crochet blog. This is my first blog so it's going to be a work in progress for a while. But, I'm a quick learner and hope to have this blog up and running full speed in no time.

I just set up a new etsy.com shop and working on setting up a web site for my brand spanking new crochet web page "Crazy About Crochet" I hope to have a good inventory at etsy.com and a very resource full Crazy About Crochet! web page. You can check out my etsy.com shop at http://www.kanokwalee.etsy.com/. I don't have any thing in my shop right now but working hard on getting some items ready to be listed.

Now that I have some web pages set up, I will have to get a few crochet items done and posted. I'm so excited. I'm very interested to see if there're people out there that like my crochet items enough to buy them.

This can be a beginning of a beautiful relationship and I'm very happy about this.
